“The staff of Sports Medicine South and I look forward to working with the coaching staff, players, and team officials in putting a first-class product on the field,” Levengood said. “The Georgia Force has a rich history of strong community support, and I am committed to help make this season beyond better.”
Levengood held the same title for the Force over the past several seasons. In addition to his Force duties, he also works as the current team physician for Atlanta Blackhawks, Brookwood High School, Norcross High School and Mountain View High School. Additionally, Levengood is the Sports Medicine Consultant for the Georgia High School Association, and the Medical Director for Atlanta Fire United Soccer Association, Georgia State Soccer Association and the Gwinnett Gymnastics Center.
Levengood is the founder and president of Sports Med South. He is Board certified in Orthopaedic Surgery and Sports Medicine by the American Board of Orthopedic Surgeons, and completed a sports Medicine fellowship at The Hughston Clinic in Columbus, Georgia where he specialized in Arthroscopic Surgery and Sports Medicine.
