Curt Bazemore is the Director of Physical Therapy for Sports Medicine South, LLC. Curt is a physical therapist and athletic trainer who treats patients in the Gwinnett and surrounding areas. Curt has over 30 years experience in treating orthopedic injuries with a special focus on knee, shoulder, back and neck problems.  He attended Georgia Institute of Technology on a football scholarship where he earned a B.S. in biology and was a pre-med major. He received his physical therapy degree from Georgia State University and became a certified athletic trainer in 1992.

Curt was co-founder and owner of Georgia Physical Therapy, a 12 facility practice in the metro Atlanta area that was instrumental in the development of a sports medicine outreach program to many local high schools and sports organizations. In 1999, he co-founded Quality Sports Training of Georgia, a sports performance training facility dedicated to helping athletes improve agility, speed, and power. Curt has had special training in the McKenzie Mechanical Diagnosis and Treatment method of treating Back and Neck pain. He is also is a leader in utilizing functional training in the rehab of his orthopedic patients.

Curt and his wife, Sara, are very active in their community and live in the Snellville area along with their two children, Jennifer and Bradford. They attend Cannon United Methodist Church where Curt is active in the United Methodist Men’s group. In his free time he enjoys sporting events of all kinds and spending time with his family.  He is currently on the Board of Gwinnett County Fellowship of Christian Athletes.
