In honor of PA Week, we thought it would be a great opportunity to let you know a little bit more about Harris A. Patel, PA-C, ATC. You can read his professional bio on our webpage here or the great article in the Gwinnett Daily Post here, but we wanted to give you a brief glimpse “behind the scenes” of a day in the life of Harris Patel!
Harris A. Patel Daily Schedule:
6:30am- wake up – check emails and text from patients
7:00am- Get ready for the day!
8:30am- Travel to work (address phone calls, hands-free of course!)
9:00am- Arrive at work – start daily patient care
1:00pm- Grab a quick lunch and address emails (yes I have that many emails!)
1:30pm- Start afternoon clinical patient care
6:00pm- Finish up with my last patient (or two, or three)
6:00-7:30pm– Patient care follow up with phone calls and paperwork
7:30pm– Travel to Norcross High School to do injury check (on Friday’s I am travelling to provide game day coverage and care for the Blue Devils!)
8:00-11:00pm- Drive home with fun music, eat a quick bite with wife, office work
12 midnight– Time for bed and get ready for another AWESOME day!

Favorite Past time/hobby – watching college football all day, family time, traveling
Most unique experience in field: Traveling all around the world (Finland, South Korea, Beijing, Rio De Janeiro, England, Costa Rica, Africa, Germany, etc)
My “Bucket List”: I would like to visit all 7 continents (I am two shy- Australia and Antarctica).
Most famous people I have meet: President Bush (Sr and Jr!), LeBron James, Kobe Bryant, Usain Bolt, Alyson Felix, and many famous USA Track Olympians!
